Seeing Beyond the Present Season Toward a Future Legacy of Tomorrow

Partnering with and Empowering Southern California Families through ABA and Early Intervention Services

At Tree Ring Therapy Services, we believe that each day marks just one chapter in the story of your success.  The story you write today reaches out to a future legacy of tomorrow.  Looking at the rings of a tree tells a story. It tells a story about the environment and influence that nurtured and shaped it into what it was, what it is, and what it will become.  Similarly, the services we provide to our patients foster a positive and enriching environment, one that leaves a lasting mark, a milestone of success, and a true reflection of a season of growth.  As a Family/Clinician owned ABA and Early Intervention service provider, we are passionate and dedicated to our patients, and partner with them to achieve the far-reaching possibilities and potential they have within.   Our team of compassionate, experienced, and talented clinicians believe in the best for every patient and implement the use of data-driven and scientifically validated ABA strategies to yield measurable outcomes and results.

Every client program is unique and tailored to meet specific needs, learning styles and abilities; creating an environment for optimal growth and development.  We understand that it is essential, necessary, and vital to ensure that our clients are having fun, collaborating in, and enjoying the learning journey.  Tree Ring Therapy Services provides the following support and client services: Early Intervention, ABA Services, Caregiver/Teacher Education and Training, and Functional Behavior Assessments.

Early Intervention

Early Intervention Services provide a focus on supporting learners under the age of 3-years old, with an emphasis on developmental milestones and skill acquisition related to: Language/Communication Skills, Social and Play skills, Motor Skills, Cognitive Development, Adaptive Skills, and Behavior Management.  At Tree Ring Therapy Services, we ensure that Early Intervention services for these little ones are fun, as our team aims to disguise our teaching as play to foster the optimal learning environment for flourishing and successive gains

ABA Services

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the scientifically validated approach to assessing a functional relationship between behavior and the environment.  Using therapeutic teaching procedures, each client program is individually designed to meet their specific needs, learn essential skills, and to reduce challenging and socially inappropriate behaviors. These procedures include but are not limited to: Developmental and Behavioral assessments, Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Behavior Skills Training (BST), and Functional Communication Training (FCT).  At Tree Ring Therapy Services, we believe in creating a learning environment that is engaging, fun, collaborative, enriching and encouraging.

Caregiving/Teacher Education and Training

At Tree Ring Therapy, we know that supporting our clients with achieving new learning goals or reducing socially inappropriate and challenging behaviors, first starts with equipping caregivers and teachers with the skills they need to support the child’s success.  Confident, educated, and trained caregivers and teachers are the fundamental backbone of success for Early Intervention and ABA Services in the home, community, or academic setting.  Our experienced clinicians approach caregiver / teacher education and training with the upmost compassion and respect.  Our clinicians provide valuable insights and support, training on practical and scientifically validated ABA strategies, and collaborative support in helping to create an environment of success for every patient.

Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA)

Skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals for patient programming are established through empirically validated assessment measures. The FBA is completed prior to the onset of service delivery to determine the appropriate scope and sequence of targets, as well as to make the clinical recommendation for service delivery hours.  Administered assessment tools and measures include but are not limited to the following: Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales, Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP), Assessment of Functional Living Skills (AFLS), and more.  Assessment tools are implemented on an ongoing basis during the patient program to illustrate successive gains through the service model, verify deficits for ongoing patient programming, and substantiate service recommendation hours.
